放熱の計算をするにあたって、
希に、表面からの放射をかんがえないとならない時があります。
放射率の実験値は、そんなに多いわけではないねで、苦労します。
一般的に、テカテカ光っている光沢面や、白色面は放射率が低いので無視してよく、黒色面は高いので考慮する必要があります。
しかし、黒くなくても表面がアルマイト処理されているときは、かなり高めの熱放射があります。
市販されてる、外付けHDに最近こういった表面処理がされてるモノを見かけますが、空冷ファンと相乗効果を狙っての熱設計です。
同様にCPUの冷却ジャケットに付けるヒートシンクも表面をアルマイト処理していたりする製品をみかけます。
フィン間の形状が複雑なので出来るなら計算したくはないです。(笑)
